Team Saturn Rock Yorkshire Schools Dance Festival!

On Saturday, 20th November, Team Saturn performed alongside other dance groups at the University of York for the Yorkshire Schools Dance Festival. After many weeks of rehearsing, it was fantastic to finally showcase our dance medley in front of parents and carers.  The theme for the performance was ‘The Power of Together’ and with the help of Hannah from York Dance Space, the children captured this beautifully in their poignant performance.  Mr P enjoyed choosing the songs that worked so well with the theme, such as ‘Come Together’ and ‘You’ve Got the Love.’

Throughout the day, the children rehearsed their own performance and attended several workshops with professional dance teachers.  All in all, it proved a memorable day for our children who celebrated with their performance, as part of the finale, to ‘High Hopes’, which was a real privilege for them and their families.
